About The Forum

3rd Safety, Security, Counter Terrorism And Counter Drones Forum

Australia has experienced a number of planned or attempted attacks by extremist individuals since 2014, raising a huge concern for the Australian government and citizens. Despite the downfall of ISIS in late 2017, the matter about the return of foreign fighters is still highly concerning as we can see foreign fighters carrying out attacks in the region, such as in the case of the recent Christchurch Mosque Attack. Furthermore, the potential threat posed by inexpensive drones carrying a home-made bomb near any critical infrastructure such as an airplane or public venue such as a football field is imminent to everyone now, however not much has been done to mitigate this issue.

To address the growing security concerns in Australia, Clariden Global is proud to host the 3rd Safety, Security, Counter Terrorism And Counter Drones Forum in Sydney, Australia. Held annually in Sydney since 2017, the Safety, Security and Counter-Terrorism Forum series have been attended by high-level senior security enforcers from both public and private sectors. Building on the tremendous success of 2018’s Forum, this year’s Forum will see a gathering of a stellar list of speakers to share deep insights and exchange views on uncovering the latest intelligence in terrorist threats, including shifting tactics, weapons, ideologies and implications to ANZ’s security environment. You will also hear how terrorists are weaponizing drones, effective counter drones solutions and ways to identify and stop lone wolf terrorism in public venues, airports and critical infrastructures.
